Help, Power loss at 5500 rpm
Hi, Im a bit new to subarus so please bare with me.
I had my car re dynod after changing the MAF sensor and at 5500 rpm the bhp just levels off and the torque starts falling along with the boost. I had some Apexi boost and fuel controllers fitted and the car was fine for about a week or two untill the maff ssensor went but now its been changed and Ive losta lot of power.
Does anyone know whats causing the boost drop?
All I can think of is that it could be one of the pipes that has come loose or cracked in the engine. If it is, How do I find out which one it is as theres loads of pipes and I could spend a week looking for it and not find it.
I had done a ECU reset the day before. Would this have done anything if done wrong? Are you meant to let the car idle while resetting or do you drive it around untill it flashes its done?
Id be greatfull for any help, thanks.
Jason
