Question v5 vs v6

Hi all,

What's the difference between a v5 and a v6

If you're talking STI5 v STI6 then as far as the engine/drivetrain goes theres very little difference as far as I know. It's mainly subtle styling differences, different bumper, different rear spoiler etc.

V6 changes -

: Black not available on the colour palette, cashmire yellow introduced for sti and sti ra.

: V6 had an uprated clutch

: Bullet shape wing mirrors were made available as an option to improve aerodynamics and decrease weight.

: Sti had basically the same rear spoiler the v5, except for a slightly raised lip at the top.

: I think there were different/more colour options available for the interior.

Also the V6 has a clutch switch.
To all intents and purposes they are the same basic car. Some 6s have the DIS coils mounted slightly differently.

version 6 has a front splitter
