What are the main differences between the two kinds of lights and what do you think are better.

Choice at the moment of either ones, the morettes are new but the UK300 ones are 2 years old, but they are genuine subaru items.

Honest opinions please.

IIRC, the UK300 have the indicator light at the top whereas the morettes have it at the bottom. I prefer to have the night-seeing stuff higher up for better lighting, and i also thing morettes look better.

i paid ( ) GBP391-49 (plus VAT) from a Scooby dealer plus another hundred to get them colour-code painted (back in 2001, fitted from new).

i suppose they have naturally gone down in price, or i hope the ones i keep seeing on ebay are the real deal, or arnt just crap.

Just so paranoid about parting with that much cash on something you cant look at first.

 

Go with the Subaru parts, save a bit and buy the STi headlights if you can wait. Morettes look cheap IMHO.

 

whats the difference from the UK300 ones and the Sti, just want to get rid of that horrible bug eye look from the front.
