Usual Sh*te from Autocar

4 pages of absolute drivel. Don't reckon they even drove the thing! Great pictures as well.............NOT! £expensive weekly toilet paper! When you consider EVO mag is just £1.20 more, absolute rip-off!

Anyone seen the autocar "drive" today...utter rubbish, note, they drove an auto !
also, claim UK models are to get 218 bhp
You can rely on autocar to confuse the issue!
still....we all Buy it!

I dont anymore - just canceled my subscription.
Sick & tired of them getting their facts wrong.
My subscription to EVO is due next month - will be re-subscribing with pleasure.

Hi all,
One thing in it's favour (and probably the only reason I sometimes buy it) are the full road tests they do. Not many other mags (any?)do such a full review with all the performance figures in all the gears, with gearing, braking etc.
Anyone got the original Scooby one to scan in and post somewhere on the net as a PDF or something?

Just remember that you don't have to subscribe - if you buy the one or two decent issues per month, you'll be better off and happier. You can always quickly flick throught the mag in Smiths or Tesco before buying, rather than being a lazy sod and waiting for it to hit your doormat every week.

I have the full roadtest from Autocar for the original Impreza Turbo (94MY) & also full road test from Autocar of the STi4 vs EVO5.
I dont have access to a scanner but am more than happy to photocopy (the originals are copies hence in black & white) & post to you.

I am quite sure that they didn't drive the car. Same case with Auto Express, claiming they are first to drive it. Don't think that there is any mention anywhere in the text about how the car actually handles or performs, etc. - only how the car should handle or perform. My guess is that they have looked at the spec. of the new car and made an educated guess of how it should handle. Don't think they have been anywhere near the car.
