Just bought a Sept 04 Sti from a Subaru dealer, 2800 miles, one private owner, £20999.
Yours must be worth £19k minimum for a private sale.

Cheers - was hoping that £20K min would be the order of the day, shame you already got one!!
I don't use the STi for work as its all 50mph max speed limit (A140) – boring and piles the miles on and still costs the earth in fuel, so the wife bumbles around at 3,500 rpm and I fill it up once a week and take it for a blast at the weekend.
However never get time to really use it much so recon that the £425 a month would be better spent on other things.
Just came back from a holiday in South Africa - arwsome place and started thinking about saving to go again one day ....... just 2 months car loan saved gets enough for 2 tickets to go back!!
Same thing with the bike - did less than 1000 miles last year, mostly a grabbed a 1 hr blast around the local back roads every couple of weeks if not damp, wet or ice, snow etc. (so hardly ever!!)
both fun fast and great whilst it lasts.
Saw a VR6 Golf advertised 97P at £4.5K leather 65K miles and FSH started thinking still fun (if not quite the Scooby buzz) at weekends and have cash left over after paying the loan.
We will see.

Just been offered 16200k by wicked kit in Wigan. Mate checked on CAP system and car books trade between 16350k for a clean example with expected retail of 18250k. Mines an 04 STI at 12,000 miles.
A 5000 miler books at 17.000k with retail at 18995k, he did stress that CAP values are a little low, but more traders are changing over to this system instead of glasses guide.
Hope this helps
