Extended Warranty Costs !!

Phoned to renew - Cost now £1233 !!
Took it up with George Darley (Mgr), now £864
Hmmmm
I dunno now - might take a chance and not bother - Saves £864 which I could do with having just come out of a contract and the next one isn't due to start any time soon.
Anyone got any figures on how many engines go pop at 6 / 7 years old.
I don't often hit the limiter.

Fate being what it is I know a piston would blow up if i didn't take it out. Of course it'll run like a dream now for the next 12 months.

Subaru do seem to want to price themselves out of some warranties.
My P1 cost about £440 for the 3-5 year warranty.
People are now quoting £1223 for an additional one year.
Time to look at aftermarker warranties, methinks.
