SPEED CAMERA ON A69
Was down Sunderland way for a wedding this weekend and was flashed by a camera on the way home.
It was on a Dual Carriageway part of the A 69 and the camera was facing me. It flashed twice as I approached it. I did not even realise that they could get you going towards them. ****.
Can anyone confirm that I am stuffed. ta.

Was it a gatso ?
I am pretty certain the Gatso's can only get you from behind (oooh err), but truvello's do you from the front. They are similar to Gatso's but much thinner.
Was the camera on your side of the carrigeway, in the middle or on the other side.
If it was a Gatso you should be ok,.
Good job it was not a gatso the otherday when I overtook an unmarked car at 110, only got 3 points and £60 fine, what a decent police man he was too.

Coincidently. the reason I did not see the camera in time was because the was another scoob passing on the other side of the road. Maybe he got done........

I know which cameras you mean on the A69. They are on the right left hand side of the road facing you as you approach but they are to detect vehicles on the other side of the road, SO DON'T WORRY!. They are slightly angled to catch vehicles on the other side. They have worried a few of my friends before after they had been apparently flashed, only to later realise, it was the vehicle on the other side that thay were flashing at! I think they are near Haltwhistle, if I do re-call.
