no mistake
normal one said 95
Other one said 99 is numbers which you couldnt miss
I also though 98 was the maximum currently made (optimax)??
I'm suprised this isnt marketed under the tesco Finest Brand
The question is when will they be bringing in Tesco value petrol?

also one in longfield that does optimax
go on the shell website, they have a garage locator link, you can put in optimax as an option when you search

Tescos stated a few years ago that they would not sell super unleaded because of the benzine content being linked to cancer? If the subject of this thread is true, they have changed their minds and suddenly it's safe! As they buy their fuel from a major producer, who is it!

Had quick look last night at the local tesco and they had super unleaded for 90.9 on the board but didn't see the RON figure. Compared to 86.9 for the normal unleaded.

surely tesco cant lie about this, as they would get done under the trade descriptions act
Anyway its still there stating 99 octane. standard being 95
(i was almost beginnning to doubt myself on this)
normal was 83.9, super 87.9

Hrmf, the last time I bought tesco Feul was about 1 year ago and it had alot of "Crud" (white milky stuff) that blocked the injectors and was a pain to get rid of... If they are doing 99 I think I am going to have to have a little trip down there and grab myself some....

Has anyone with an imported car and a knocklink tried this stuff ?
Noticed any difference, good or bad ?
Which oil company do Tesco use ?
If this is correct then perhaps it will also appear at a regular filling station.
Cheers

Query Details: I understand some of your garages are now offering Super Unleaded Fuel [Ron Rating 99]
As Chairman of the Subaru Impreza Drivers Club and driver of an Impreza a car which should be run on SUL I would be grateful if you could confirm this and also provide a list of stations stocking this
I understand the Thurrock Lakeside Store Does but my local Southend Store doesn't
I would be happy to promote these stores as an alternative to Shell Optimax and BP Ultimate which our members usually use
I look forward to hearing from you
