Default Can anyone HELP!!!

Had MY00 (standard UK) for a few months now, the problem is when driving from cold get the feeling that the car is lunging slightly ((hard to explain but the power seems to come in waves below 2500rpm). My car is now making a ticking knocking noise when driving along without accelerating, not sure if its is coming from the brakes. The noise is very low and not constant.
Anyone have any suggestions .

Most Scoobies are a bit lumpy when cold, certainly the classics, anyway. It shouldn't be too bad though and can be negated by letting your car idle for a bit before setting off. BTW when the car is cold, you should not be taking it much above 2500rpm. Have you changed the oil recently? Overfilling can result in a contaminated boost solenoid which will stop the car accelerating properly, it also makes a ticking sound.

You should get it to a specialist/dealer asap to be safe. Till then drive off boost.

The car had a full service when i bought it 3 months ago, has been running fine till now. I would presume that they changed the oil and things when serviced.

I am wondering if a brake is grabbing as they are spongy and sound harsh when cold, (is this normal)
But thanks for the advise.
