Best way to remove the dealer's boot sticker?
I've had my STi for about two and a half years now and want to get rid of the sticker the dealer put on it before I picked it up. I should've done this a long time ago but just never got around to it. It's probably welded on by now so I was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips or tricks I can use to remove it without damaging the paintwork underneath. Thanks in advance.
Edited to say that it's not a thick sticker which I can remove with my fingernail/credit card It's a very thin sticker which looks like it will need some clever coaxing to get it off without scratching the paintwork.

Be very wary of doing this if the sticker has been on for nearly 2.5 years as paint is subject to weather wear / damage and sun fading. As the paintwork under the sticker has been somewhat 'protected' by the elements you may find that it is a noticably different colour from the rest of your paintwork.

the car i just brought had stickers covered over it and they had been on there for years. i had no problems getting them off, just took it very slowly when peeling it off the paintwork, then polished the area and you would not know that there was a sticker or two there!
(p.s does help if you have nails, mind you i did ruin them though!)

Thanks everyone. I guess the bit which worries me now will be if the paint underneath will show as a different colour. I've hand washed and polished the car from day one and the paintwork still looks as good as new so there's only one way to find out I suppose! Thanks again for the advice.

Quick update - removed the sticker with the hairdryer and fingernail. It came off a LOT easier than I was anticipating and the glue underneath was easy to remove as well by just rubbing it with my finger Thanks again...I'll do the one on Mrs STi-Frenchie's RAV4 once it stops raining...if ever!
