The Donkervoort is not really much different to a Westfield/Radical type thing, and I'd guess is actually cheaper than a lot of the main stream Porsche/Ferrari stuff.
I believe the fastest sub £100k car from any of any of the makes you list is the Radical (SR3 Turbo from memory), but it really does depend on where you draw lines. There have been a few times on here long lists of lap times acheived by various cars of all sorts.

Swish - whilst I really do like the Nobles, they are significantly slower on a track than a radical or similar.

ok,sorry to keep changing the goal posts. Exclude Radicals/Ariel. Though road legal, nobody would drive a Radical to work? Include Nobles etc. Also must be factory standard but factory specials included ie M3 CSL, GT3 RS etc etc

dont think you left much to choice left there but i know id be going for an fq400 ,
but if you want class and style and none of them up there audi rs6 , sure its an rs6 there supoossed quick
Lotus Exige the New one thats coming out , 0-60 , 3.8 and under 100k i think it `s 40k and round a track that must be Fookin Quick , as bein a lotus
if i had 100k to play with it would be aston martin , and id have to test drive a dodge viper but the petrol consumption on one of them must be lethal , iit would need a bank loaneverytime you turned the key

I think the RS6 as mentioned above still holds the record for the fastest production estate around there.
As i said, a long list of lap times has been posted on here in previous threads. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...ht=nurburgring is a start, didn't take long with search tool
Based on that, lightweight / special versions of 996 type Porker's appear to be well up there, with times in the 7:40's

As you can see the donkervoort was road leagal, although its a moot point now.
Dear Mr. Odriscoll ,
Thanks for your mail . The Nurburgring record we broke goes for homologated
production cars in Germany , not for race cars ! So the road car we used was
street legal.
I hope this answers your question .
Best regards joop donkervoort
