Re the Bangered Scooby.
The class of racing, at Warton Stock Car Club, is called Super Bangers.
The Class is a 'light contact - nudge & spin' class, not like bangers.
Cars usually last a couple of seasons.
That said... There was a 'dispute' between the Scooby driver and a Crappi driver and this happened http://www.wartononline.com/scooby.htm
(this an exclusive page on my site for you guys/ladies)
by The Way the Scooby driver told me that he had sold off almost all the parts of his car after it arrived from Japan.
Also it should be back racing in a few meetings time (I guess there may be a ban instore for both the squabbling drivers)

back in my day we called it spin and turn , usally for the kiddys or first timers!
not that many people take notice, normally turns narsty after a few laps,

Warton Scoobys back
The Scooby trashed a few weeks back, as been, sort of fixed. It was not good at cornering, mind you that could have been the new driver.

the video of the capri hitting the scouser car is excellent. 340 j atkinson is a once team mate of mine ( i raced for team v for a few years ) the reason the blue car folded so easily was due to 1. using a car to rotten ( even for bangers)
2. badly prepared (even for bangers)
3. J, is one hellova driver & it takes a lot of skill to take somebody into the wall as square on as he did on this occasion.
Going back to the super banger scoob, is it 4 wheel drive because they used to only allow 2 wheel drive in supers at warton??????????? My mate used to race a cosworth siera & they made him change it to rwd. still bloody quick though.
