Default Service history what do you think ?

Hi Guys this is the sercive history of the RB5 im test driving tomoz, would you say it looks about right, all the service has been carried out by Subaru main dealer, any feedback greatly accepted.

Russ

Hi Russell,

Sorry for delay.....been to Stanstead Airport - really busy roads !

Ok, the car has received the following services :

1. 27.09.99 at 906 miles
2. 21.02.00 at 2535
3. 23.07.00 at 5104
5. 28.11.00 at 6525
6. 27.06.01 at 12353
7. 17.01.02 at 18723
8. 17.07.02 at 22949 (inc cambelt)
9. 10.01.03 at 28470
10. 08.01.04 at 37077 (major service inc ALL fluids changed)
11. 27.10.04 at 43344

The last service was an intermediate scheduled service (oil and filter, checks all fluid levels, transmission, belts and brakes). The next service is the 75.000 mile (again intermediate) due at 50,000 miles on this car due to the low mileage. The next major service is the 90,000 mile to include a second cambelt change. Additionally, I have had an oil and filter service, levels and engine flush carried out on the 16.03.05 at 45724 miles, so all is up to date.

Look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Regards,

LT.

Seems OK, check the stamps in the book are not still wet!!

Make sure they look like they were stamped at different times!! I went to see a car once with a Full Service Book ...... every stamp was the same! So was the signature (in the same colored ink!!) ...... walk away if thats the case!

Also, see all the invoices!!

Pete

Ummm... Doesn't look bad although the time interval between 7. 8. works out to be nearer 7 months between servicing. Although it hasn't reached 7500 miles. And 9 & 10 looks well out. Over the 6 months initial servicing and over 7500 miles. I take it this car is kept garaged in it's life span?
