Well this might sound like a daft question but why would you want to?

I thought you were keeping the JDM and selling the WR1, so how would it benefit you?

Secondly why would you want to invalidate your WR1 warranty.

The outcome would be that it doesn't fit. You need to have headers, up-pipe etc etc matched to fit the twin-scroll. Not a trivial job, but it can be done, people have managed to fit it onto classic scoobs.

Twin scroll may or may not have more peak power than the UK STi, but will almost certainly be a lot faster spooling up, meaning a lot quicker in many real world situations (especially e.g. motorway speed in top gear)

dont intend to do it just wanted to know what the outcom would be and wether it was as simple as just swoping the turbo over.

chrisp - yes(ish) you'd definitely want to. Although it would probably run to some degree or another on the existing map, I wouldn't hold out a lot of hope for power or reliability. But unless you sort out the up-pipe, headers etc, you wouldn't get as far as wanting the re-map.
