Default Powder Cost and Lacquer

Looking to get my wheels refurbished....

Can someone please tell me the difference between Powder Costing and having the wheels Lacquered...

What finish would you advise...the OZ wheels are gun Metal grey and i am looking to keep to a dark color...

I had mine powder coated & lacquered. I think the lacquer gives the wheels that shiney effect.
Will try to post some pictures once I figure how to use the new digi cam software?

Powder coat costs more, but if a far better finish for wheels in that it's tougher.
I’ve seen £50 a wheel before, spit and polish are very good.

Tried them too....if i give the wheels with the tyres on they wat £65+ VAT

Choices are:

Spit & Polish - 4 day turn around
Rochfordtyres - 4 day turn around
WickedWheels - Same day mobile service

However am little worried about the same day service as i am not sure of what finish the wheels will be...mainly will the repray be flat or grainy..have had this issue when i got the rear bumber of my last car sprayed from a garage...

All of the avove are charging the same amount..
