No - this really is goodbye this time - I've finally got rid of it. Sold the scooby today (S741 APH).

For the last three weeks it went unnoticed in Autotrader and Top Marques. I called every dealer in the north of england and only one was interested - D E ??? of Sheffield.

It went for £11,000. The buyer was basically saying prices are dropping by around £600-800 a month at the moment what with the 2nd hand market and the new model out soon.

I was sorry to see it go - I've made a huge loss on the car but I don't regret a minute of the last 15 months or so of ownership

So if you see someone driving around in an Astra company car - just remember "My other car was a Scooby".

Got to admit it hit home the other day when S600BY R passed me on the M40 and I couldn't even wave

So your cars'worth £11k now, price dropping £600-800 per month - so that means if you had hung on to it, in 12 months time it would have been worth £1400-3800. For a 3 year old car ? I'd buy it at that price!!!!!

If the figures he gave you are correct, he is just full of so much ****!!!!
