P1 vrs STI.???

Default P1 vrs STI.???

what's the difference between the P1 and the STI......both performance wise and Mechanically ....???

i dont think there is much difference between the two other than the sti usually come with a few mod cons

the sti 6 is the base model for the P1!

adjustable centre diff (DCCD) on the STi (type R, 2 door config like P1)

Not that either!

The P1 has the 4 door STi5 has its base mechanical components, but uses a TypeR 2 door bodyshell and a mix of UK and JDM interior.

yep i certainly do! lol the P1 doesn't get a water sprayed intercooler but does have ABS unlike the STI 5 Type R!

There was a good magazine write up on this a few years ago. From memory they perferred the STi.

it was an old jap perf mag-still prefer the look of the p1 though,why prodrive could not give us i/c waterspray/dccd/folding mirrors i do not get

cheers lads, I was leaning to the STI cos I had an STI 3 v-limited before, so thats what I'll be looking for in a week or two then.???
