how effective are spoilers on scoobys , does anyone know ??

You probably get some downforce from them, but i doubt it would be to the standards you see in motorsport.
Anyway, downforce=drag, drag=slower.....

I took the 22b style on off mine, and replaced with something an awful lot smaller, I've not had any issues up to serious speeds!! and whats more, it does more to the gallon!!! By a considerable amount!!

and it stops people with mis-aligned headlights dazzling me as often

i believe it simply cancels out any lift rather than actually producing downforce.

The carbon s202 one I had on mine was one that actually produced downforce, and i think the horrid looking UK300 one designed by peter stevens also produced a very small amount.

according to www.swrt.com it adds downforce to aid high speed corning.

Nice morph from rally car to STI flash animation as well.
