Scooby newbie
Hi
This is my first post here although i joined a few weeks ago, have been busy getting info on all scoobies.
I know its a long time away but i plan to be ordering one for my 21st birthday next june (gives me time to save a bit more cash, especially after adding up the running, servicing and insurance costs lol).
Up untill today my shortlist of cars got stuck between two, an 05 STi and an EVO8 of some kind. So i thought id go with my dad and have a look at some today, went to the Subaru dealers in Lincoln, had a chat with the salesman, was very, very impressed with the car, then he asked if i wanted a test drive (who would've said no????).............oh my god, awesome, it was an 05 STi (never driven a scooby before) and the thing just pulled n pulled and handled very well. Loved everything about it, the exterior, interior, performance, handling, the one thing i did notice however was the exhaust note seemed abit quiet as i love the flat 4 burble, but was told that the ppp pack sorts that out and lets it roar.
Then went to the mitsi garage, dealer said he'd just sold the demo car but could have a look around a 260 and mr340, nice but the interior seemed so dull and plastic-ey, so going for a test drive in a new demo 260 next weekend to sample the performance/handling.
Thanks to simon at lincoln for the test drive and all the info, sound guy, he's most likely got himself another sale in the future

A named driver may bring it down but if your the main driver then you have to be the policy owner, if you cannot afford it, wait a few years until your insurance comes down, simple as that
