Hello All

As the subject line: What is a Vcar list and what extent of damage does
it take for a car to get onto it?

Reason I'm asking: I'm considering getting an accident damaged performance car.
Not been to see it yet, so I don't know what's been repaired.

Obviously, if the standard of repair is unacceptable or it doesn't feel right I'll walk away.

Just after some opinions...

vcar is the Vehicle Condition Alert Redgister.

this is for when cars are damaged and claimed on.

there are groups that are given to the cars depending on damage, A, B, C ,D.

C and D are o.k to go back on the road and may need an inspection when the car is fixed and ready to go on the road.

this is to prove it is the same car that has been fixed etc.....

Cars on this list are worth less and many people stay away from these type of cars.

its up to you in the end and if its cheap enough then why not.
