Homemade I/C Spray??
Hi,
Excuse me here for sounding a bit 'cheap', hows's this for an idea....
One of my mates with an impreza who finds after doing a long run the intercooler gets very hot, i know some imprezas such as the RA and Type R's etc.. have an I/C Waterspray, but i've thought of a bodge', what about disconnecting the Washerjets and taking the pipes with new nozzles, to feed water onto the intercooler, (obviously filling the tank with water only),has this been done? is it a possibilty?

Lol, yeah you'd be a bit screwed , twas just a thought of the top of my head I have a Ver 3 Sti myself and have never really thought of getting I/c W/s put in, but might consider are they an expensive bit of kit?

run the pipe from your head lamp washer if you have one or J4mou will sort you out a kit for £50-£60.
