Contract Hire / damaged car query
Not sure if anybody can give me an idea on this but.
I have a car on contract hire through IM (I think they use Bank of Scotland), and have had an accident in it.
The Car body shop think the car may be a write off, but obviously the insurance will only pay market value.
Has anybody got any idea how the lease company will value the car at, I'm worried they may be quite a difference?
Thanks

Mark, you don't by any chance have a Black WRX Saloon do you?
When I was bringing home the Spec B, I passed one and notice the rear end had been shunted. Sorry for you anyway. The insurance company should pay you book value and then Capital Bank will give you an early settlement. Depending on the deposit you paid in the first place you may be okay. If the car is in it's first year then maybe your insurer will supply a brand new car. If not hopefully you have paid sufficient already to make it not a problem.
Let us know how you get on.
