Small oil filters

I have just given my Scoob an oil change and the oil filters are very small - and what is worse it only screws on about 1.5 turns - Any comments on that?

the new "small" oil filter is now retro fitted to all previous models.....................should screw on more than 1.5turns though..........

Deffo more than 1.5 turns, are the threads fubar ? Or is it cross threaded
