is this correct that only sti's have a red top. i thought it was 96 onwards?

only sti's have a red top, its just powder coated nothign special maybe heat repleent or something.

yup thats right but every sti including my own ive seen the red paint flakes off

my car has all sti bits,badges,strut brace,fog covers,signature seats but hasnt got a red top!! the engine code is for an sti. whats that all about then??

also it has a roof vent i thought wrx's didnt?

A WRX RA Ltd could, I believe, have a roof vent

Not all sti's had the red top, the early ones didn't.

Early STi RAs do not have the Red Top engine.

from what i know sti version 1's didnt all have red top engines and was introduced later on. Theres someone on here selling or was selling a very nice example of a non red top sti in metallic black.

Regarding the roof vent, U can always get one put on. Ive seen one on a Green UK wagon lol n im on about a vent not a scoop
