rolling road tuned my car today
had a little trip today to interpro in Bristol for an oil change and tune due to a miss fire.My 1999 2000awd uk car has the pro drive pack and thats it so was hoping for 240bhp max so my jaw hit the floor when the guy came trough and told me i had 274bhp and 266lb/ft torque he was as gobsmaked as me said he run it up 3 times to be sure and same each time 203bhp at wheels 274bhp at fly said it was as far as he could remember the highest uk car he has seen at this spec.Thought a little play with my mates sti4 on way home would help convice me and not much in it sti pulls a couple car lengths on me.Well happy with that interpro also said the pro drive exhaust was restricting the car and a change of down pipe de-cat and exhaust would see an increase..

That is very impressive power figures mate. As you say standard power claimed for the 99/00 PPP is 240BHP and 258 ft/lb. I have a WR Impreza on a MY00 with PPP and not so long ago had a Full Decat, Non resonated centre and scoobysport back box. On Interpro's rollers I made 252BHP and 261 ft/lb with the brass restrictor drilled out to 1.3mm. I did find the car was a bit slow to build boost and so later I refit the original restrictor at 1.2mm and the car was a LOT more lively (but it still overboosted). Never did get the car back on the Rollers but I don't think I would have upped my power by 20bhp and similar 20 ft/lb.
