Default Steering wheel for 1997 Impreza Turbo

Is it possible to change my steering wheel for a momo style one (they appeared as standard on the later models). The current one (p plate Jan 1997) has an air bag fitted, has 4 spokes and the rim of the wheel has become spongy added to the fact it looks naff! Any help on the type, fitters and prices would be appreciated.
Thanks

It should be easy enough to replace the steering wheel for another aftermarket type eg. Momo. I'm not sure whether the later spec wheel would fit though.

An aftermarket Momo steering wheel would set you back about £150 and then another £50 for the boss, etc. Places like Halfords (Ripspeed) would be able to help with the fitting although it's not that hard a job. You will lose the airbag however.
