Question Model history

Can some1 please confirm wether there is a 2 door coupe wrx sti and a 2door coupe wrx sti type R or are they the same models,we are talking 97on only classics

They did do both. A Wrx Sti Type R And A Wrx Type R..

no what i meant was is there a sti 2 door coupe and a sti type r 2 door coupe?

No, it was just a type R, the R denoting the shell name (retna?)

So all sti 2 door coupes are type Rs then rite? meaning close ratio gear box etc...
