Default To be or "knock" to be?

My '98 Impreza WRX Version 4 has been set-up professionally by Power Engineering to run happily on UK Optimax Fuel using HKS AFR module so there is no det. It has been rolling road tuned and is running 307bhp & 268 lbs ft torque.

I have been told by some that the Knock Link sensor is a must for all imports and even though the car has been mapped on Optimax with no det there is still a chance of it happening.

Should I get the Knock Link installed or am I wasting £150.

Thanks

They are worth it even if youve had it mapped.

You can still get bad fuel, even Optimax if its been stored long enough, which can result in knock.

Post in wanted for one, might save you a few quid.
