Question car holding back(missing)

My 2000 turbo seems fine in the lower gears but it revs up when i change gear thought it was me at first then somtimes i can feel it coming on boost stopping for a split second then off again. Then last night on may back from nec it just started getting worse it would start boosting then stop then start then stop etc etc only in 4th and 5th under heavy load thinking the two are linked going to get it tuned next couple of weeks just wondering if anyone had an idea of what it is
cheers steve

I had a very similar problem which turned out to be the plugs breaking down under heavy load, I suppose it could also be a coil pack.

It sounds like your clutch is starting to slip, could be wrong but that's how mine acted and in no time at all it was slipping big time..... scoobs do like torturing their clutches
