Wink

According to Haynes there are NOT enough Subaru's sold to warrant them doing a manual,
in laymans terms they haven't a fooking clue how to strip one down and rebuild it but havin said that neither do i

But there are (apparently) enough PT Cruisers sold to warrant a manual!!

Work that one out....

Now THAT's useful - many, many thanks. I'll need that when my 03STi drops out of warranty and I can have some fun with it

Looking through those pages, I assume the manual is the US version? Use of terms like Sedan, and existence of automatic STis, and STis with cruise control are what I'm going on.

Welcome to the Forum Stu from another newbie...just joined today!

I do believe you can get a manual for the Legacy which is very similar but there are workshop manuals available on CDs for the Impreza on ebay but someone on here is bound to have one.

Sedan (rather than saloon) is printed in the Subaru Owners Manual that came with my UK spec. WRX.

I'm also very much a newbie (I've had the car just over a week), I came across this site the other day that has manuals for other versions in PDF Format. The files are very large though ....

The Haynes USA manual for the Legacy 1990 to 1998 is Haynes PN 89100, ISBN 1 56392 326 2.

You can get it from Haynes in the UK. Thats where I got mine from.
