Stolen Scooby recovered !!!
#1
My mate who had his five door stolen on Sunday night got it back today, the car was recovered in Birmingham on Monday night (minus cd changer, stereo and valve caps?).
The car was spotted by Police on 4 separate occasions, the last time by 2 off duty officers who followed the car until it was parked up, they then arrested two of the scum in the car and a third ran off, he was arrested earlier today.
The only problem is how long will these scum be off the streets for? After the CPS/COURTS slap them on the wrists and say, “don’t do it again” & turn them loose to nick somebody else’s hard earned pride & joy & they may not be lucky enough to get it back undamaged.
Paul.

Further to the "name and shame them" thing, when someone goes to court their name and address are posted on the wall outside the court room (I was a witness in court once).
It must then be possible to get the names and addresses of the scum that nick cars and make them public knowledge.
Not that I'm suggesting any retribution on said scum but it might deter them a tad knowing that their victims know where *they* live.
Jerome.

Just thought that it would be quite poetic to go to the court room, find their address, and whilst they are away (i.e. in court) remove the contents of their house.
Now, where can I hire a removal lorry?
KF.
p.s Is *that* TWOC or theft? mmmmm.
