Question Rear spolier confusion...Pls help!

Apart from the STi4 mid level spoiler, is the Prodrive one the only OEM part with a high level brake light?

Also, pics of the Prodrive spolier appreciated, and if there are other options, pics of those too, or a link.

Cheers

M

STI4 is same as ones fitted to MY99/00 cars.

STI5/6 is a huge spoiler with brake light. P1 is same, but top part is different design

Prodrive (as you can see) has high-level light

22B look similar to STI5/6, but just not as big. It has a low-level brake light IIRC

There's also this style.

It's a 4 piece spoiler with the brake light in the top wing.

99.9% sure that ALL OEM spoilers had brake lights, the low one, the STI4 one, 5, and 6, all have high level brake lights, oh, and the prodrive one, the DRM one is NOT an OEM spoiler!!

Where can I buy a Prodrive Spoiler from?

It's either that or the 22b replica.

(bet I end up with Sti4)

Here's my old 'non-standard' prodrive spoiler and I didn't pay that price for it either!!!

There were copies available ages ago, but they're no more. They very occasionally appear 2nd-hand, but other than that you'd need to haggle with a Dealer to get one.

I know my Dealer did a deal 18mths ago for £500 all-in. Still damn expensive though.

Take it the boys at Prodrive put the Kybosh on the source?

So you think that is bad, I paid £850 for a genuine 04 STi rear spoiler (prepainted) . My local dealer had a P1 spoiler stolen from a car- £2000 to replace
