Default smokey fuse box

hello just conected battery and burnt out a black wire with to spade connectors what is it and where can i get a new one, i have never seen one before

Do you mean the spade type that has a second spade on it. Halfords do sell them

Ah, err, um.

What did you do to blow that, fuseable links are usually the last line of protection against shorts !

Only think a dealer or your local motorfactor (EK's in Lancaster seem to be able to get anything)

sounds like you put the battery terminals round the wrong way??

have you been doing any other work, suggest you check carefully before refitting..............

i had the car running few minutes before, the battery was almost flat been stood for a while, so i took battery from other car and connected it, think i put it on right, hope i havnt killed car
