i have just recieved my carbon fibre bonnet to go on my Subaru Impreza 02 (2.0 GX). I have been told it is a straight swap. Swapping the bolts at the hinges and the catch that goes at the front of the bonnet seems pretty straight forward. What about the tubes/leads for the wipers?? Is it straight forward to to unattach and reattach to new bonnet?

One other thing. there is no blanking plate under the bonnet and the scoop is not meshed. Would leaving the scoop as a hole cause any problems (ie when it snows etc)
