Right bit of info then after todays discussion
Starting point for Santa Cruise 2004 is 12 o'clock at the Clock, Shardlow map for those who don't know Map
We leave around 12.40 to be at Derby Childrens Hospital at 1pm then on to Calow Hospital Chesterfield for the second stop.
Anyone wishing to donate can do it online via the sidc shop or you can bring something with you on the day. We need kiddies toys for both boys and girls from birth to age 16. If you wrap your pressie before hand please make sure it's labelled boy/girl and the age range, a 16 year old lad with Barbie ain't cool If anyone wants to try and collect something from work etc thats cool to, i have a flyer available for you to print off if anyone wants it.
If possible it would be nice if everyone could wear something Christmassy you may feel daft in a hat but i'll be dressed as Santa an Geoff as an Elf and i am holding him to the green stripey tights he promissed to wear Also a bit on tinsel wrapped round the car in someway would look nice.
Lastly a point i'm going to mention is that on arrival at the hospitals under no circumstances take any photographs of any of the Children there to see us, unless given permission by the childs parent etc. We are going to try and arrange this beforehand this year but last year when we all jumped out the cars and started taking photos the poor nurses nearly had a heart attack
Above all remember why we are there and look at these kids and what some of them are going through and dig deep, theres more to it than just turning up on the day.
The Santa Cruise clock is ticking 4 weeks to go
Dave
details can be found here.
be good to see you there

Yeah this has been running for a couple of months now on s.i.d.c it happened last year and was a great success details here clickyso we are going again this year. There are cruises covering all of the uk throughout December with the Midlands one being the first this Sunday.
If you want to come along on the day then thats no problem but the reserved area is already full at Derby and you'll have to park in the normal pay and display, there is still room up at.Chesterfield though. If you feel like coming along on the day then drop me an email to dave@midland-scoobies.com and i'll send you some details

Some details were posted a few months back, and it's all over s.i.d.c and quite a few other sites.
No problems in posting it, i just need to keep tabs on the numbers anyone turning up in a scoob that the hospital haven't been made aware of might end up getting clamped for parking in the restricted area which ain't good
Like i said if you want to come along to the Midlands event and laugh at me dressed as Santa then drop me and e-mail. Otherwise there are events in the South,North,North west and Scotland.
wander over to s.i.d.c and take a peek it's all good fun and in a good cause
