Default advice needed NOW,going to view car tonight

hi guys,

i'm in the market for a 01-02 wrx.

i'm hopefully going to see one on sunday, one of the good points about it are thats its only done 11300 miles.

its a euro import
its due for a service in january tho!

the guy says its never had its brakes or tyres replaced,

is this a good thing(shows it hasn't been driven hard)
or bad thing (cos it'll cost me more when i have to service it)

i've been told that euro imports have the same spec as uk wrx, is this completly true?

are there any serious disadvantages in have a euro inport?

what kinda thing should i been looking for regarding paper work etc etc

any advice would be really good, as this is gana be my first scooby!!!

thanks in advance

nick

but not with mileage as low as this for my budget, he offering it to me at a price just better than what the dealer offered him, if no one takes it with in the next two weeks he's gana let the dealer have it.

obviously i don't wanna rush in to it but i've been looking around for the last 4 weeks, an this is the first one to have mileage as low as this.

it'll be the first wrx i'll actually be going to see, if every things seems to be ok with it, i wanna leave a deposit an the sort money an insurance out , then pick it up off him during the week.

As long as he has put CAT1 security on it, it'll be the same spec

No. I had one from new for 2 years and still got the same px value as a Uk car

what kinda thing should i been looking for regarding paper work etc etc

Service history and manual in English, log book and certificate of conformity

any advice would be really good, as this is gana be my first scooby!!!
