Default MY03 Poll time! Mileage

Ok team...
Those who own a MY03 WRX or STi what kind of mileage have you put on it...
And what do you do a week roughly...

I used to put beween 500 and 1k a week on mine then i opted for a seconfd car and it calmed down now... My Sti's got 34k on it . and now i do perhaps 200 miles a week just pleasure driving...
don't go to work in it as a work all over england ...
"did my 1 millionth mile this year" jees thats scary... added up all my mileage sheets over the years!

so me

34k
250 per week...

Over to you...!

Ta

In a Bellingo Multispace... DOH! must get a my other cars a Scoob sticker!

I think the scoob would stand out abit in the MOD car park!

My MY03 STi (53 plate) is a second car so the company vehicle takes the strain during the week of commuting.

After 14 months of ownership (from new) it has approx. 11,000miles on the clock. Summer months have more heavy use than the winter months.

Had 03 WRX since June 2003 now got 12,000 on it, mainly used for shopping and kids taxi. I've had a couple of good blasts to South Wales in it, thats when you see what the Scoobs all about.

Use a second car too but still clocked up 20,000 miles in my 03 in just over a year....

Overall about 30k.

I have done just over 13k in about 18mths in my MY03 STi. I am using a second car though, 3 days a week in the scoob and 2 in the other.

Trouble is the 'other' car is always a pile 'o' $hite compared to the scoob, so stupidly I have gone through the following this year;

VW Lupo Diesel
BMW 525SEi Touring
VW Golf estate diesel
Audi ur quattro

Finally get a second car that has decent performance and cheap insurance (I can get it on classic car policy) and now head gasket has gone.

I've just bought my June 03 reg WRX last week and it had only done 7700 when I collected it last Monday. Its already done a further 700 miles. I do about 25k per annum so its about to rise quickly.

STi, new in April 03 - about 14K on it now. Hardly used, but when I do use it I do so properly, mainly at weekends.

Damn battery tends to flatten when it sits still, under cover for weeks on end...

Still, it does look like new - with no marks on any wheels, original tyres and just 1 stone chip.

Also - just had a JD Power envelope land on my door-mat asking for my ownership experience to date. Anyone else had one for their 03 STI or WRX?

Dazza - great pic - what camera and s/w effects (if any) do you use?

Anyway, 17K miles per year, STI-UK PPP 03, started using trains more, safes stress plus the worry of where to park the bloody thing.

Glad to see I have company as I was beginning to wonder about my "high" mileage of 31K. I drive for fun only.

As a second car my old 52plate clio Dci 80 was the dogs... a little expensive at 7k when i bought it but simply THE cheapest real world car (thats brill on the Mway) you could have...
constatly above 60mpg had 81 mpg taking it easy on the A1 over 100 miles... grp 4 ins and it pulled like a train...
doing the high mileage i used to MAKE £100 a month on reclaiming the fuel!
Now got a Citreon Bellingo due to new child and bloody pushchairs and such...
Will be having a Clio again though...

Just noticed the Co-drivers name, initially thought you had a Chinese girlfriend. Nice looking car!

WRX.....4,900 miles......13 months old

Currently doing about 250 miles a month (that includes commuting). I use the missus' Fabia vRS occasionally and in summer I use the bike - didn't fuel the Scoob up for 3 months across summer.

Dazza,

Reno's from what I have read always seem to have parts failing and are expensive to replace. Did you have any problems with yours/find parts expensive?

p.s. I have had the JD Power survey through for my MY03 WRX STi. Mine is a JDM though, so 3/4's of the form relates to the main dealers which I could not fill out.

Damian.
