About to have a s/s exhaust ( catless I think ) and air induction kit supplied and fitted....Graham Goodes quoting £1150 plus VAT for their own system which I beleive is top rate ( any comments ) and Demon Tweeks quoting £625 inc VAT for a Catless Mongoose system and pipercross induction kit! the scooby is a 00 sti vers 6 standard just having had it's first 1000 mile service. Do I need to be looking at other alternatives or are any of these OK ?

The GGR induction kit is almost identical to K&N's own, as it uses K&N components. When I asked the staff at GGR how their 'bespoke' K&N kit was better than the 57i kit, they were unable to answer. Funny that, considering it costs £100 more!
I don't know anyone with a GGR exhaust though, so can't comment on that.
I can comment on what I have though....
Full Scorpion system inc d/p, approx £450 (+ fitting).
K&N 57i induction kit, £70.
Total cost of driving nirvana.....£520.
The difference between this and any other set-up I believe will be neglible at best. I personally belive this set-up is hard to beat, but then I am slightly biased.
