Lights on ???? UK WRX 02 plate
Folks,
When looking at a potential purchase today (52 plate Impreza WRX UK model)the guy told me some funny old story which made me think thats something to ask you bunch.
He advised that when his battery went flat it was due to him not having the lights on ? That right ? Same as a Volvo ?
And are his old alloys worth £300 ? He has replaced them with gold one's but wants another £300 for the old alloys with 11,000 miles on the tyres.

Apparantly if you have at least the sidelights on, it creates a drain on the battery which causes it to charge up. If not, it can drain over a period of time. Luckily in the scoob its easy to leave your sidelights on, as you don't get the annoying beeping sound when you open your drivers door (and the lights go off when you turn off the ignition). Only bummer is driving down the road in broad daylight not realising you have the main lights on.
