Question What would scooby do???

About to sell my classic STi and at a check up at the local garage i've found out the exhaust has gone and need replacing. knew this was the case as i noticed a drop in power. mechanic says i might get away with just replacing the center section but the back box is so badly rusted it might fall apart when the centre is replaced!

should i

a)sell the car at what i was after minus the cost of a new exhaust
b)get a new exhaust and sell for what i originally wanted
c)other...

BTW, how much for an exhaust these days??

TIA

Wez

Put a post in the wanted forum - theres plenty people upgrade to aftermarket performance exhausts and have good standard items lying in there garages etc they will sell!

Try Ebay too, often centre sections on there for next to nothing and back boxes for not a lot more. Do a search on the "for sale" forum, go back a couple of months and PM people if they have still got it. Worked for me, I ended up buying 2 and sold 1 on Ebay that paid for both!
