MUD Flaps £350 !!!!!
That's what the dealer told me. Is this right ??? I'd rather eat my own Sh*t than pay that for 4 bits of rubber !
Anyone know of anywhere else that would supply and fit in the Hampshire area ?

they don't fit them but it aint that hard

Dealer says no
Have been reading about flaps (oooh matron) and decided on the Black prodrive ones from main dealer. Rang up only to be told that cos they sit so low they ground out (speed bumps etc.) all the time and that they probably remove as many flaps as they fit. Is this true?

I have the black prodrive ones on my WR1, had them about 2 months now and as yet not had any problems.... and there on the lower of the 2 heights as well...

Mine (Classic Wagon) ground out all the time at the rear, but don't have any problems. Been on about 4 weeks now and haven't fallen off yet.
Freind has the same with his '01 WRX Wagon at the front and his haven't fallen off yet either.
Maybe the dealer in question doesn't fit them right which is why they fall off ?

Thanks guys. Had a look at Demon Tweeks and Scooby Clinic but as mine is a sort of "company car" I have to go through main dealer. Have decided to force them to fit black prodrives, will let you know if they fall off!

Can anyone enlighten me as to why these particular items are so expensive 
. Where is the R&D investment in some old wellyboot rubbery-stuff, a dodgy looking aliminium bracket or two and some tarted up screws? I am totally mystified by the price of these things! 
I bought a pair of 'stone deflectors' from Prodrive which were originally designed for the front arches of the P1 (thanks to NickAdams on here 
). They will (when I get round to it) fit with a teensy bit of modification. They are only for the front and are about half the area of a regular flap. I dont like full mudflaps all round and these will hopefully srop the 'rooster tails' of muck I get sprayed up the sides of my motor while skipping about the farm roads. They are the same stuff as larger flaps and cost just under a tenner each from Prodrive via my dealer. I dont consider this a bargain, just reasonable.

The mini flaps you have were in fact a bargain. Im not sure why they are being sold so cheap these days (stock clearance?) but know for a fact they cost much more to make than £10!

when it comes to doing anything with a toolkit. I don't think they are that difficult to fit. There might be a bit of drilling to the splash guards. No doubt others can clarify this?

ive got em but i didnt pay that ridiculous price for em mine were second hand
and £75
( find someone whos just sold their scoob and taken em off then barter away)
