Default Someone ran over my car last night!!!!!

Someone ran over my car and my housemates car last night. They ran all the way over the bonnet of my car and then over my housemates car. They then jumped down onto my housemates bonnet and dented it significantly. I am absolutely fuming......... Why do people not respect other peoples property. I work bloody hard to look after my car and some idiot ruins it in the space of 10 seconds. It makes me so mad! I swear if I ever catch them I won't be held responsible.......

Its all down to jealousy and a few screws loose. As you say you work bloody hard for the things you want and some people just dont have any respect for whats yours.

Had mine keyed on 2 panels during the week, they also stole my metal dustcaps which leads me to believe they were pretty young.

I know how you feel mate, I'd have throttled them if I'd caught them.

Mine got keyscratched and I'd only had it a week.

The Nova brigade get REALLY jealous of these cars, it seems.

Went to visit a mate at Exeter uni a few years back - my mate drove down in his dads company car, and that got 'run over' overnight!! Luckily no dents, but serious pisses me off that people have so little respect to do stuff like that

We live in a society where respect is an out of date concept. I work with 15yr old kids who have been taken out of mainstream school for many reasons - behavioural being the main one, so I see this lack of respect every day. What I see is slowly but gradually eating away at me. I am looking forward to retirement in the next couple of years and If I never see another 15yr old, baseball capped, hooded little sh** again it'll be too soon!

Hey, I know exactly how you feel
Someone did exactly the same a few weeks ago to mine. Started at the boot spoiler, over the roof, jumping down on the bonnet scoop denting the car all the way

If you do catch them... you'll have all us scoobynetters as witnesses... but officer, it was self defence...

Cheers everyone for the support. Glad I am not the only one to think that society has gone downhill! I am slightly more relaxed now, have had a few beers to take the edge of it! I feel sorry for my housemate, my car is relatively unscathed apart from a dent in the boot. His bonnet is completely stuffed and there is even blood on it.

Have called the police to analyse the blood and footmarks on both cars but apparently they don't work weekends! Oh well, I may have to setup a webcam to keep an eye on it from now on. There is no way I am going to let this happen again without someone losing a lot of blood (and Idon't intend it to be mine!)

Cheers everyone!

I use some hardware called Inetcam.
There are some other Scooby users that have it aswell.
Lets me see 4 cameras through my PC and lets me view them from any Pc connected to the Internet where ever I am.
Also records so its a great device for capturing them ba?tards.
If your interested let me know.

Are the cameras in the car? Could be interested if the price is right. What sort of figure are we looking at? Is it in the hundreds?

Cheers.

No the cameras are not in the car.
It is a 4 port card that plugs into the PC then you can plug in 4 cctv cameras.

Go to http://82.152.46.69:6800

You will see 3 static camera's come up.
Click on the left triangle under the front door camera as thats a cheap night vision camera and will will stream real time.
The other camera's are not night vision so try them again during the day.
I do also have other cameras running inside house but there not accessible by any1 (just incase I'm running round naked )

doubt it is anything to do with jealousy or anything. probably pissed up late teens/early twenties showing off to their mates.

You can make the other cameras work at night quite cheaply or so I'm told.

My mate did this once...only he failed to notice a big black guy in the car with his GF. He got out of the car and promtly gave my mate a good slapping in a shop doorway.

Lum,

They may say 10-15 metres but ones I have tried are naf.
I actually have an Infra red Flood Light triggered by motion and that works well.
I also have a Pan tilt Zoom that can be controlled via the web as well but thats a different interface.
The cameras were great when I had the lawns re laid as on their 2nd attemp of me complaining and them re doing it I told them about how they were laying it.
Then I told them I was watching them while at work and showed them the video footage.
The next time they re laid it they did it perfectly, just goes to show what they try to get away with when they think no one is watching.

I will find out the cost tomorrow for you and post it on here.

I have a dedicated machine for it which I use as a file server aswell.
It's great as I also have a system that rings my mobile when someone's pushes the doorbell when I'm not in.
I can talk to them and see them, also open the garage door so they can leave parcels etc.

I dont think the system has had as many people view it since this post.
Four people were on it today at the same time.

The four port cards with software but no cameras usually retails at £330 + vat.
But I can get them at a Special buy for scoobynet users of £260 + VAT.

Not Bad £60 off.
