Just wondering what peoples choices would be, both are brilliant cars, but which one would you have if you had the money! I cant make up my mind so i want to hear some views as a lot of people on SN have owned evo's and scoobs, cause both cars have got the same sort of torque, evo has around 50bhp more, evo costs £47.000 wheres the type 25 costs around £35,000.

Evo cant be worth 12,000 more than the type 25
I like EVO's but anyone can make a car with that sort of power if you put the servicing down to 4,500 miles. IMHO the servicing interval shows that the engine is at the limit and thats why i got a scoob not an EVO.

If I was being given the car I would choose the Evo, if I was buying the car I would have to say the Impreza.
FQ400 looks a fantastic car and would out perform all Scoobys but heavily overpriced.

What is the 4500 mile service schedule on an Evo?
Is it:
oil change @ 4500
full service @ 9000
etc.
Or a full service every 4500?
scooob service schedule is every 10k, but who doesn't change their oil every 5k?
If the evo is just an oil change at 4500, not really much in it, is there???
I heard a rumour that the scoob service interval was pushed out to 10k to satisfy the car lease companies who wouldn't pay for servicing every 9k.

The 4500 service is for the AYC....
The Evo block is good for over 900bhp, the engine is no-where near it's limit
A standard internalled engine has been proven numerous times to be good at or over 400bhp & 400lb/ft.
Next time check your facts!

the T25 would deffinately be my choice between the 2
I think in the real world the FQ340 would be a more able car on the road than the FQ400.
If it were T25 v FQ340 then the decission would be harder to make but still would be the T25

Hmmmmmmm T25 Spec C ra very sound nice
