Help with an import!!
I am about to import my first Scooby after many years of beggin' and borrowing etc...
I have a choice of two for my budget, i wanted to know if anyone had any opinions about the two, which will help me make my decision, 1996 WRX Wagon Facelift and a 1996 STi 2 Wagon. Can any one help me with information so i can make a more informed decision?

Further than that I have three very good pieces of advice: dont ever buy from a dock auction; dont ever buy from a dock auction and finally; dont ever buy from a dock auction (further to this: dont ever buy from a dealer who bought from a dock auction; and most do, no matter what they tell you. Dock auction cars are sh*te)
Theres a lot of rubbish talked on Scoobynet about importing and compliance testing, by people who dont have any experience of it, but Im sure youll find that out.
Simon (whos classic is worth ****-all because of the sh*te sold at dock auctions)

Btw; whilst all Japanese cars are supplied new with a service book; its extremely unusual for it to be completed due to all service records being computerised and there being no culture of home maintenance, all work is done by dealers; so dont expect a service history (also; you can only own a vehicle for which you have a police inspected parking space and if you dont service your car the dealer wont accept it as a part exchange.....)
