New speed camera M4
Come off the M25 going west and the first gantry you come to has brand new cameras... installation was going on friday.
Be warned,,,
Any chance of a new forum for speed cameras or usual spots for mobile detection? In the name of vehicle safety of course...as everybody knows that some people panic and slam on the breaks at the sight of a camera. So its more of a safety issue....lol

Is this near Slough? Someone else mentioned recently they saw one being installed there. I drove through there friday and noticed some white lines on the road, was doing under 80 so hopefully didnt get caught!
Had assumed cameras had been removed from motorways, as clearly they must cause loads of accidents.
Can only assume this one is set to go off at high speeds, ie 110 or something, otherwise be flashing away like anything!

When I came back the other way only the two of the gantry holes had cameras in them... but men in hi vis coats were still working...
And cant see them being removed as the revenue being generated must be massive.
A friend just got done doing 37 in a 30 on a camera ( not motorway obviously). Don't know what camera's are set for but ther used to be a 10% ule plus 2 miles an hour.. i.e 30mph + 10% = 33mph + 2 mph = 35.
Anything above 35 is nickable?

Worrying...
At work we received 'several' NIP's for driver speeding at say 35 in a 30, 47 in a 40 etc last week. The allowable does seem to have come down recently.
Usually they are for 42 in a 30 or similar! Wonder how accurate Scooby's with different wheel / tyre diameters are??
