Any used/ heard of it?

One bottle in a full take will take you up to 105 ron,
but you should use half bottle really, and that gives 101.

15 fl oz/ 444ml bottles.

i may be able to get this suff cheap if anyones intrested.

RRP is about £15 but will be a bit cheaper than that!
will find out for defo tomorrow.

oh, how much do people pay for millers etc?

I mean the engine dyno, not the rolling road! those things are so inconsistent the reading could vary byt he gain anyway between runs.

Plus it would take a remapped ecu between runs to gain a noticable difference.

but the miller bottles are only 250 ml aren't they?

so you need 2 for a tank...........and that only takes you to 101ish?

this stuff does 105 with one bottle to one tank.

(correct me if i'm wrong about the millers)

thanks peeps.
how do you use the NF stuff and what ron does it give you?

Perhaps you guys wanna do a bit more reaserch on Millers stuff.. It seems that when its combines with Optimax the outcome is not soo good.

Kevi Groat..Has the wording on the NF bottle changed??? Im only asking because if it say 6 RON point then it means that the RON is only raised by about 3.6RON so beware. A lot of octane booster co's were in trouble for sayingt that their product could actually raise ron by so much when it couldnt.
You best bet is to add a capful of toluene Cheap, effective and will make the cleanest burn of fuel.

kevi, is that at a ratio of one full bottle to a full tank?

i phone the lucas tech line and that who told me about the 105 rating, so this stuff does 7 points in a ratio of a bottle to a tank.

Just spoke to the millers tech guy...4 days ago,he said..Using the millers as per instructed...Ie a bottle to a tank full of petrol ...Gives 1.6 octane points....I thought it was nearer the 2+ mark to be honest.....
Looking at NF perhaps....Not heard a bad word for the stuff...Kev.

Julian - Do you need a bottle of NF to try ... £13 to you mate, I have some left!

1 bottle does 6 tank full's, adding an octane number or so, or 2 octane if you use double the amount etc.

NF is now imported by Roger Clark Motorsport.

Toluene is indeed relatively cheap but it takes a lot more than a capful to make an appreciable difference.
Trust me.

The idea of a good octane improver is not only to increase the octane rating of the fuel (don't forget - one octane number = ten octane points, so if a given amount of OB gives say, 5 octane points, that is only 0.5 RON) but also to help control the flame front of the combustion. If you add any more than that needed to control pre-ignition or det. it's a waste of money! I would doubt very much if your ECU could add advance to the point of taking advantage of 105RON!
