Value of my brothers Scooby
Alright chaps, I'm thinking of buying my brothers Scooby and I'm looking for some advice on what it's worth.
It's a 5 door UK car, 99 V plate in silver with a reasonable level of spec . He's owned it from new and to say he looks after it well is a understatement.
It's unmarked inside and out with 12000 miles on the clock and it's never been out in the winter so it's never seen any salt and has all original bodywork.
He wants about 10k for it, is this a bit steep or is it about "it's money" any opinions would be appreciated.
Cheers Martin

Into perspective, a T plate MY99 just sold on here for 6995, that had 44k on the clock.
I'd chuck about 1500-2k on to that price though as although same year its a v plate and less miles.
Now you could look in the classifieds and see all the other cars for sale that are worse than this for 9k, 10k etc, but you will also see they aren't selling...

Just sold a MY99 with 65k on the clock with a few extra "bits" for £7500
12k is really low miles for a '99.
If you like, buy it.
