HELP HPI CHECK QUESTION?????
mods please could you leave this up here for a while thanks
guys want your advice a perspective buyer for my car wants to do a hpi check online he says its not complete so he needs the chassis number of the car, the log book number and the mot number i cant help but think something isn't right. ive given the number plate that should be enough shouldn't it??
any help appreciated

Why not give HPI a quick call to confirm what info they ask for??

yeah they need all of that, when i went a bought my wrx and called up hpi they asked for mot number and log book number is because there are so many fake mot cert. around you will not believe it trust me? and that goes for the same with the log book aswell, sometimes they dont have the numbers themself (hpi that is) they up date there system so next time its correct. I remeber they asked the colour, condition and i thought they were going to ask WHAT COLOUR UNDERWEAR IS THE SELLER WEARING? it does get abit long and annoying for the saler but for the buyer you can just enjoy the look on the sallers face? LOL dont worry because there is nothing to worry about?
