anyone recommend an impreza rally day?
Anyone done a rally day in a scooby or can recommend a venue within 100 miles or so of cambridge?
Getting someone elses rally spec impreza sideways appeals to my darker side...

Hi Joolz74
Just recently completed a day at Bill Gwynne rally school near silverstone northants, whole day in an Impreza, 8 drives of four laps or there abouts.
It was very good, the car seemed to be a bit rough & tired but well quick enough.
The guy's are excellent, very helpfull & have a sense of humour. A+++
Big thanks to Peter Bennett from BG 'excellent' instructor, loves his sport.
'I'll be back......'
My best experience though a little further a field, was at Rally School Ireland. Absolutley brilliant. The car was mint, Ex Prodrive two door group 'N' well tidy.
Two Completley different courses & skills required, what a buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Why not join a motor club & hill climb your motor, that's my plan for 2005

Scoobycity are organising one for the early part of next year.
If you're not in a rush, Maybe you could join in with them.
www.scoobycity.co.uk - I'm not sure of the full link.

hi PNB
Thanks alot for that recommendation - i had Bill Gwynne in mind as they are not too far away and offer a variety of cars. Thinking of a track day as have a spare set of OE 15's that came with the car ...
Other than that , need my car daily for work so can't afford to abuse it toooo much ..
if it doesn't happen then will keep my eye on the forum
cheers

No Prob's Jools,
Hey you don't have to abuse your car to enjoy hill climbing, your probably at more risk giving it some stick around your local area.
