Not wishing to start a monster thread, but i am interested if anybody else out there is as mad as me ?

Mon to Fri i do 138 miles per day =work
Sat and Sun around 20 miles a day =fun

Any one else out there ?

This time last year, in my courier days, I averaged circa 400 miles per day Mon - Fri.

Weekends I seem to cover a couple of hundred 'fun' miles

if i am then theres a extra 660 miles added on for the weekend

mileage is creeping up a bit now lol
so are the optimax points tho (will get a set of halfords pro tools out of them me thinks lol)

Ive been there. It worked out cheaper to help the other half buy a car then move her down.

Now i average about 25 miles a day if i use the car or it does 1.8 miles a day if my good lady takes it to work.

Miles are not a problem for me, the old girl is coming on 84k now and still wiping the floor with Poorly priced performance new age travellers, my average is 240 miles per week and weekends its hardly ever used due to the wifes 206 sw being sat outside doing nowt

I've averaged about 600 miles a week in the past year.

Was on 54k with my engine rebuild last year and now on 91k :-o

typical week in the life of my P1

monday - wednesday 40miles going to work and seeing the loverly lady
thursday 80 mile round trip for uni and then home to bed
friday - sunday is anyones guess but this weekend it has been filled up twice. (mr shell loves me )
on average it gets filled up 3 times a week, this has so far equated to 7500miles in 3.5months of ownership (and now its next service).

I do 40 miles a day at the moment.

Hmm, 40 miles a day = 13440 a year, and my 18 month old WRX has done 26k... thats about 6k over what I should have done!

That will be my 2 trips to France in June then!

82 miles round trip to work, but just started going a B road route to cut it down to 66, it takes longer but 3500 miles a year less!! Pluanything from 20 miles to 500 miles at the weekend depending on what i'm doing.

Last week managed to park up at 6.45am monday and not move it 'til 5.30pm friday evening. G/F has a rental at the mo' on someone elses insurance so we're hammering that Usual is 60 miles a week for work, maybe another 40 domestic and (moreso in summer) anything upto 300 pleasure although during winter that'll be almost 0

In summer I use a tank a week (£40) but recently it's dropped off to less than half that

Anyway, normally do about 10 miles per day, although have managed 550 miles in a day once, followed by 250 miles the next day.

I do 160 per day if I do school run (4 days week) & 150 on the day I don't...

Hence why I bought a diesel

The scoob is my daily commuter, so if I'm just going to the office and back its about 120 miles per day. If I go out on site, can go up to 150 per day.

The fuel bill is quite shocking after my previous car (PD150 Golf GTi)

Only 4 miles a day to and from work, 30 miles at most on a weekend. Saving on fuel, expensive on insurance I guess
